The Book of The Great Fish was submitted was the final project for a course in comparative literature at Brandeis University, circa 1985. The crux of this work is The Pool, a story in the collection Alive and Well on the Road to Self-Destruction and Other Paths of Righteous Indulgence.
Too Drunk To Swim is a long-form poem addressed to a classical muse, with homage to Blake, Whitman and Ginsberg, written with great ambition in 1990.
